A Leap of Faith!

There was a time when all my work revolved around Information Technology and the support of organizations infrastructure … it gave me a lot of hands-on experience within this realm as well as great exposure… but… don’t we all get to a point where we feel that enough is enough?

Being a people pleaser by nature, I’ve always burned out my energy helping family, friends, colleagues and even strangers alike… then I find myself exhausted with no time for myself and my own dreams nor my closest circle of loved ones. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a saint but I’d like to think that people like me for who I am rather than for the services/favors I provide to them!

I’ve changed employers less than a handful of times throughout 16 years of experience that were not even planed the way they went to begin with. Only decisions made at the time of change considering the surrounding circumstances until COVID along other challenges struck and now I’m out of a job!

So now what? Shall I proceed again in resuming and pursuing the same career path or not?

The thing is, I’ve discovered variant interests along the way and got lured in a different kind of passion that somewhat differs from IT; and that triggered the discovery of rather hidden talents that I’ve had or maybe ones that have evolved within me whilst having a blindsight towards noticing them from my own perspective of myself.

But is that enough to pursue a career shift since I’m kinda new here !? Turns out, it isn’t!

I needed to hone-in on the required skills, enhancing the ones I already have and working harder to acquire any that I lack to be seen as properly fit for the job at least in my own eyes…

But is it just a job? The answer is definitely no!

It’s a life calling to do something different, something awesome, something inspiring, something fantastic that will still be helpful to others as I always love to serve humanity while reserving my energy or rather say well dispensing it to a just cause that will keep me refueled to do even more…

So, with a little help from those who truly love me by providing sound guidance and uncovering my veiled abilities for potential growth, I’m now taking steps to shift in a different direction where I’m creating a new roadmap for the challenges and thrills to come, and I won’t lie to you, it’s not easy, but it’s far from impossible.

Whatever path in life one might want to embark on, I invite you to take a chance, a leap of faith if you will, and make that change.
